Previous revolutions needed humans for economic progress and competitiveness. This one won´t. In fact, to achieve those under AI, humans become less valuable than ever to the point they become a massive burden. Someone will conclude it is necessary to get rid of them, and that´s not an AI decision, it is a power driven psicopath decision like any other one that has been taken before prioritizing the economy, resources and wealth over humans; this time it won´t be much different. Forget about utopia, if the underlying mentality hasn´t changed, we are screwed by or own canibalistic system (empowered by AI).
