I hope that AI gets more people to get off the damn computer and get back into tangible art! Brush and paint and canvas, pencils and paper, art that you can feel, touch and smell, get out of the house and into galleries. Get off the digital cameras and back to the film and chemicals and real life! Because if you're not doing that all you're doing is riding for outdated computer technology. I'm not against AI art. I am a sci-fi buff and a futurist. I love technology. But I'm also a traditionalist and a realist and I know that a full on blast into futurism without traditionalism to balance things out will lead to a cannibalization of art and life itself. Art outside of computer technology represents something that AI will NEVER be able to touch. I would love to see a renaissance of traditionalism, of humanism where we're less dependent on devices and social media. As long as we stay dependent on technology we will be slaves to it and ultimately to a full on AI takeover of everything.
