I was recently in an interview for a graphic design position. My first impression of it was that it felt very corporate. When the interviewer finally logged in, they didn't bother to turn their camera on. I was forced to stare at their ai generated face profile. When I showed them examples of my work, their voice shifted to a snark, disgusted tone while pointing out that I drawn it all by hand. Then continued asking me if I "am aware about ai generating softwares" I wanted to say this out loud to him so bad: "Yes sir, I am aware of legalized plagiarism. At least my work looks better than your ai generated face with your left eye looking like it was copy-pasted over to the right but forgot to flip it" At that point, I knew what I was dealing with as he also seemed agitated that I had the audacity to ask him questions in the end. So after the interview, I searched more about the company online and found out on a website that they're a company that abuses new employees. Only hiring them for 6 months or so, just to spit them out to avoid full payouts.
