To be fair an AI not impacting a companies profit may be one of the better outcomes because most of the time they are not implemented to raise profits, but to cut back on costs regarding employees.
Wages and other costs associated with employees are often one of the most expensive parts of running a business and sadly more often then not the first, and arguably the easiest, point where corners are cut
