100% agree with you.. I am not sure if there is talks about it but, there needs to be an audit of what goes into these image processing AI programs and the info should be made public so any image can be claimed by its creator who can then consciously decide to contribute it to it or not and on what basis - what is the monetary benefit provided for it.. every image going into their processor should have an agreement tagged on it. That is the only way this arm of the technology can be ethical and should be allowed to grow.
What consequence is a mere computer program if no human artist created all of this. Where would the idiot AI learn the visual language and artistry from ?
Its like one of the world's renouned Spiritual Gurus (Sadhguru) said as a joke :
