The biggest thing that I think these ai “””artists””” fail to understand is that- at least for me- the process of creating art by hand can be very therapeutic. I actively enjoy the artistic process. I love learning and growing and seeing how my art improves over time. Even when I’m struggling to draw something, I still very much enjoy doing it! There is no learning or improvement from typing a prompt into a computer and having it spit out a jumbled mess of stolen art.
Thank you for spreading the word on how harmful generative AI can be, for both artists and non-artists!
