The reality is, most good 'AI art' is people crafting a story, from script, to storyboard, to art direction, to directing each shot, editing, etc. I think you're making an artificial (pun intended) difference between 'Generative AI' that seems to be 'autonomously' generated and 'human' art. It's a spectrum, with great stuff that has as much love poured into it as any painting or film on the one end and AI Sora cat video's at the other end.
