I wrote my first AI program in 1970 on what was then called a trash 80. Radio shack computer. 16,000 bytes of extended memory with expanded ROM upgrade. AI is really not all that fantastic as these programmers are telling everyone. Robots do what they do because they are built with certain axes, which are programmed in order to accomplish a particular task. I don't believe I'd want a robot that appeared as a human being. I'd much prefer robots look like robots. Even with today's micro circuitry, it would take a computer the size of a house to equal the capability of the human brain. It is said the average human only uses approximately 10% of their brains capacity in their entire lifetime. Aside from all we know of the human brain it has capabilities that have yet to be exposed to the world in general. With that said a robot could never completely ever expect to compete with all the unknown capabilities of the human brain. Telepathy, Psychokinesis, self healing , and so much more. We've been programmed what we are capable of doing. If it hasn't been scientifically proven then we've been told it's not possible. Open your mind to anything is possible, and you will be surprised what you can accomplish.
