There are times that it is interesting to see how weird AI art is. I think that there is some worthwhile line of inquiry into the question "why did it do that?" the problem with that is that is all it has. You see one really weird AI art piece and there is something great about how weird it is, but then no other AI art is weird in a different way. You look at the next piece and it's not a new weirdness it's the same weirdness. It's all one note.
