I would be fine with ai "art" IF, big, BIG, IF They 1.PAYED THE ARTIST FOR THEIR WORK!(Could be done as 1 time payment or something like royalties- where for every image generator the artist got x dollars or cents.) 2. Credited the artists work they use via a very clear link, gallery or credit list of the artists name/social links. 3. After the image was generated, a little bar would appear below the image listing the artist's names it pulled from or something similar. It is 100% possible to due this without illegal means, it's been happening with music I don't see why it shouldn't be happening with art.
Oh also IF IT WOULD STOP CLOGGING GOOGLE/WEB SEARCH! I can't tell you how many times I tried to find references only to scroll for hours only seeing low quality ai art that looked like rainbow turds!
