You definitely are not the only industry affected. I just wanted to say though AI art as it's called allows someone like myself who is artistically minded but just never had really great fine motor skills (at least with traditional art, but i play music well) to simply use my imagination more directly in a way in order to produce visual art. Just like back in the 1990s/2000s I would have used Bryce 3D and similar software to make CGI landscapes.
I do understand some concerns like that if you look at stable diffusion 1.5 as well as the XL release, it includes at least 910 or so artists styles baked right in. And I'm pretty confident stability AI who made it never asked permission. But that's apparently the way the cookie crumbles.
AI at large though , I am really strongly believe, will replace the vast majority of human jobs over the next 20 to 100 or so years. Even the role of a plumber will probably be reduced to only coming out in person for the most advanced work that for whatever reason still requires a human. Routine everything will be done by some kind of plumbing robot. But I digress. Thanks.
