This clip is deliberately deceptive and misrepresents the story. No AI program blackmailed or threatened to blackmail anyone, or actually tried to prevent its real world shutdown. What actually happened was AI was told to decide in a fictional case how it would prevent shutdown, with one of the choices being blackmailing the fictional programmer.
