These data centers will be built. It may not happen today but construction will start within 5 years. There is too much money behind AI and as AI integrations become more commonplace, the capacity for AI compute must expand. Practically every new processor has an NPU just to help contain AI functionality on the system. By that, I mean if you ask what the weather is going to be, the model should run on local resources rather than send it to a data center. The simple tasks such as photo editing and basic questions, don't have to leave your computer. AI though is still in its infancy.
