My sister is an artist and she mainly does digital art. When I was younger (my sister is older) she told me once that some people don't see digital art as real art. I couldn't understand any of the arguments for why it was "cheating" tho. Like one of the arguments in this video, "you just lazily click smudge or blur" there's blending sticks irl. Irl you have to pick up and put down your tools, in digital you hold the same tool but it does different tasks.
Sorry if none of this made sense, I just hate the argument that digital art is cheating or not real art and I find it pretty fucking bold of these ai bros to say digital art and ai "art" are equal.
