Honestly, my whole stance on the AI thing is not really a question of "should AI be allowed in art", but rather a question of "how much AI should be allowed in art". I believe that prompting an AI to make an image does not constitute "art", but using AI in the process of making a piece of art does not always devalue the art. I believe that the AI should either provide a better alternative for pre-existing technology, or be different enough from human creation so that it becomes an artistic choice, rather than a straight up replacement. Also, the training data should be opt-in, although the products are only as "good" as they are now because it isn't.
