AI is going to be able to perform any mental labor a human can, only better, and for less money.
Robots driven by AI are going to be able to perform any physical labor a human can, only better, and for less money. Robot trucks are one of those examples.
This is going to become true by 2030 ±5 years, thus it could begin as soon as sometime in 2025 or take as long as sometime in 2035, most likely to come somewhere closer to 2030.
This will NOT BE LIKE the industrial revolution, because any and all new jobs created by AI and robotics will also be able to be done better by AI and robotics.
The Republican plan is "trickle down economics, we know the owners will be replacing virtually all labor with AI & robots, and if you don't work, you don't deserve a free ride, so we should get rid of any programs that give anything for free to anyone".
The Democratic plan is "we are not sure what to do exactly, we need to let the rich be rich, but maybe we need to create a universal basic income to keep those who are not rich from becoming extremely poor".
