Totally agree with everything you said here ....
Now, art made by human won't indeed disapear; humans need to do art, the same way we need to communicate; we need to express ourselves. AI might "compete" somehow with artists; but human arts will have more value. Same with diamonds; we can make better and cheaper synthetic diamonds than the real thing. But we reject the 'fake ones' (OK, this is also pushed by the industry tho). Let's take another example: Self driving cars... People will continue driving; but for fun, on circuits for example; even if most people won't drive anymore.
Now about the remuneration of artists and the 'opt out' thing; I totally agree, I don't think how we could go another way than that...
