It's an "AI" problem.
The algorithm is written to sound not only knowledgeable, but also friendly and convincing. As if you were making a friend a right there on the spot to discuss and work out your problems with. A friend who knows everything.
And that's exactly how these things are sold too.
Mr. Bromide isn't victim number 1, he's in a long list of them thinking they are getting serious real world, or even "futuristic" advice from an actual thinking being.
It continues to be dangerous because of things people will do to themselves and each other using it.
None of this "AI will take over the world" horse shit.
