born with talent LMAO I thought the same thing when I was little but i kept making 'bad art' until shapes and colors started making more sense and i could recognize the patterns of lighting and shading. Just like any skill, it takes a lot of practice and time. We aren't 'gatekeeping' art, we're trying to preserve the act of making it authentically instead of just typing in a prompt. Coming up with an art idea is just a small step, actually putting the shapes down and playing with colors and spending hours trying to fix that one eye is what makes art so impressive. There's nothing impressive about AI art. There's no soul in it.
