lol on the point of not liking AI being ableism, I'd love to see an AIBro try and pull that one on me xD Cos I'd then be able to immediately flip it back on them and say "Oh, so it's ableist to not like generative AI? Given the fact that you're calling me, an autistic person, ableist, that is in and of itself an ableist comment, which means it is in fact *you* who is the ableist."
And yes, under the current rubric of the DSM5, I'm considered to have "autism spectrum disorder", but that definition completely ignores the very real differences between classic/traditional autism and the former diagnosis of Aspergers, which I have.
And yes, for the record, I absolutely hate generative AI, along with how much just AI is being shoved into everything these days. "Oh, you want a new fridge? Well this fridge has a built in AI that will tell you when you've got a singular pea left in the freezer compartment! Wow, Future!"
