The problem of a UBI is that it would only works if we eliminate inequalities and I just do not see the current government and the billionaires behind them to agree to something like this even more so when they are the one behind AI it's much more likely they will just keep the lion share of profits. The possibility we end in an utopia is infinitly less likely than the possibility of us ending in a dystopia. To get back the world to the right track we would have to remove all the politicians and billionaires and replace them with people with empathy, maybe even abolish countries and unify the world and go for sustainable growth instead of the unsustainable growth we are going for which is destroying the planet we live on. Yeah... not gonna happens corporate overlords it is.
