What are they proposing they hook it up to? You could load a gun and tie the trigger to your dog’s tail. That could be lethal. Is your dog’s tail an existential threat? The hype is: LLMs are amazing… something something super intelligence. That leap in the middle has captured all the space cadets and armchair philosophers and people like Elon pump that to attract investment capital, cause if it’s an existential threat, it’s super consequential and you’d better put your cash on that wagon.
