Anything short of full level 5 autonomous systems ought to be banned outright. People as a whole are largely incapable of operating any system that they have to monitor because all to often they won't and assume it'll handle everything while they text away in the driver's seat. Cruise control and maybe the sort of cruise control that maintains distance on it's own are about the only things that have any business being in a car.
