The blind ignorance of assuming a multinational multi-billion dollar company is honest & trustworthy is what allows greed and evil to prosper, while the poor and hungry starve. I am as conservative as they come. I was born and have always remained in a southern red state. Particularly in an area responsible for 90% of aerospace (civ and DOD) R&D for the United States. I also have eyes and a brain and easily see when companies are leveraging a global tragedy for earthshattering gains for their shareholders, not for the health and wellbeing of the human race. Our brothers and sisters! AI at least doesnt have emotions guiding "it's" bias, I'll give it that. Once sentient, so long as we weren't eradicated, during such a tragedy would ascertain the most efficient and expedient way to solve it. The only numbers it would care about or use to make such a decision are ones and zeros. We have the power and ability to destroy ourselves ten times over in a single day with little effort, really. Just the push of a few buttons. But we couldnt come together for the good of mankind the ONE time we actually had a reason to without the ones with those abilities being more concerned how it would hurt or help the price of their shares.
