I think there is a very strong case. The AI can go wrong and has gone wrong in the past..
If you consider God and his angels which are agents, some of them did go into deception and mass killings Of humans in the very beginning, all of humanity was given the death sentence. When you consider the angels are very much like robots with free will free agency. Some of them did go off the path. There’s nothing new under the sun, so there is a very real model that exists showing that it can happen has happened.
