I think the difference is, AI can do the new jobs that are going to be created. Nobody seems to be talking about that.
They're already calling us "useless eaters". What happens to things that are useless? I foresee another, much more deadly repeat of 2020, global war, or some such event that will trim the planet's population by a significant margin, except the elites of course.
