One big thing I've noticed in terms of youtube AI critics is that they seem to know so little about the topic they criticize, or at least they ignore what they do know just to be more dramatic. People who use AI can do more than just enter a prompt. There is a program called Krita, which is just a normal everyday art program artists use for creating digital drawing. There are actual artists who use this with their 'traditional' drawing methods (using a stylus) to get faster results. They help them make lines better, add color, shading and detail as they are drawing. They can shape what is created by hand, without a prompt at all. They can create completely unique images (I will refrain from calling it a work of art). Many 'AI Artists' use more than just typing in words to create their "images". You can use controlnet (depth maps, line art, poses) to influence the outcome, inpainting, masking, etc. They use many methods digital artists use in their own platforms like photoshop to influence how the image is 'diffused'
