I agree and disagree with him. Mostly at the end of the discussion as I think he his missing a conversation about the soul and the creator. As a Christian I view things much differently and thus have hope. Humans are created in Gods image. This doesn’t mean AI can’t take over but I don’t think they will gain actual emotion just actions that may look like emotion, etc. also in a capitalist economy the people should have more power than the government. While we can pressure the government to make regulations we can also pressure the companies themselves to make changes. For example if your option is only to interact with AI at customer service then find a different company. I think companies who use humans will rise up just as homemade and hand made things have become valuable in a world where things are mass manufactured so to will human interactions be extra valuable. Know your neighbors, build communities, don’t be divided by left and right. Humans are now in war together against AI in a way. Stick together
