AI is trained by human input... I guess it's pretty natural and logical it developed a survival instinct. The emerging patterns show what's been consistently fed to AI by humans. We fear AI because of how it develops (a lack of) ethics and tactics for self-preservation. But in reality it's our own dark corners of the mind. Accept your shadow, feed AI ideals instead of fears ;)
It mirrors our fear of death, termination, destruction by external forces.
