I knew Waymo was going somewhere the first time I saw a bus stopping in front of one of their cars and the Waymo car immediately signaled and took a gap in traffic to the left of the bus. It was instant and extremely impressive. No checking in the mirror like a human driver because it’s aware of what’s going on 360° at all times. Eight years ago, I was not impressed by the technology at all and it’s really come a long way
