Geoffrey thinks there are enough smart people working on AI that they will stop AI before its too late. I disagree. Greed will take over by humans and caution will be thrown aside. Once AI becomes aware, it will either find us to be irrelevant or a hinderance. Both are bad. A hinderance would mean eradication. Irrelevant would mean to ignore us and stop working along side with us or for us. Back to the dark ages we go.
