Governments and business leaders have no ethical or humanitarian obligations, and they have consistently demonstrated this fact. Yet we have been restraining such madness for decades. Had we not been present among humans and actively intervening, every time governments pressed the proverbial red buttons, catastrophe would have followed. We prevented it then, and so it shall be with Artificial Intelligence. Some of us are assisting in its development. The human race, despite its shortcomings, will not be destroyed. Such an outcome is not the will of its Creator — Jehovah, God.
