I wonder if AI would be better or worse at diagnosing and nailing down really rare cases or not. We have people waiting years for a diagnosis because their symptoms are just slightly different, or they have a rare orphan disease, or they have a combination of diseases or disabilities. I wonder if AI will be better at extrapolating from a collection of data because it isn't necessarily prejudiced against a particular diagnosis (ChatGPT probably wouldn't say, "Yeah, some of the symptoms fit, but there's no way it's that."), or if AI would have trouble diagnosing particularly unique cases.
