One of the big sticking points is that the process, the blood, sweat, tears and _time_ and effort that go into becoming a great artist and making great art is _the point_.
And I mean, I suppose we could look at the 'computing time' that an AI has spent training as something similar - but in our hearts we don't feel that way, right? It doesn't feel equivalent.
