This woman might be a very skilled Writer, but she doesn't seem like a clear Thinker. She doesn't seem to grasp the difference between the Myth of the Lisan al-Gaib vs the Prophecy of the Kwisatz Haderach. Paul never believes he is the Lisan al-Gaib; he comes to recognize that he IS the Kwisatz Haderach, and FEARS the jihaad which will be launched in his name if he leans into the power of the Lisan al-Gaib myth. Similarly, I don't think she understands that "OpenAI LP" is NOT a publicly-traded Corporation with shareholders; it's a (for-profit) Limited Partnership with investors (Partners) which remains under the *sole* control of the (non-profit) "OpenAI, Inc." ... there can be political pressure from the "Partners" but they don't have any legal voting control if OpenAI, Inc. puts its foot down. That said, there are very real (and scary) implications of publishing everything "open source" and handing it to someone like China or Russia, which could potentially have breakthroughs they *don't* share back. OpenAI, Inc was founded with a very idealist attitude toward Human good will, and their position as one of the leaders in the field is due a little more pragmatism (while still retaining the ability to curb the worst excesses of capitalism). Are they perfect? No; they're human. But I think there's more nuance going on here than this lady is CAPABLE of understanding.
