really just goes to show how they don't actually give a shit about art when one moment they're proudly touting how "this ai recreation of princess mononoke is SOOO much better than the original 😏 animators are COOKED" and then the moment a new toy drops that lets them generate art in the exact same style they were just berating, now they plug into anything and everything to chase the hype of the new thing. how many of the ai techbros spamming studio ghibli ai filters on everything on twitter do you think have actually seen a studio ghibli film?
