Disappointing to see another uninformed opinion playing into the "OH NO, THE AI OVERLORD IS HERE!!!!" LLM's are simply more sophisticated auto-complete programs that have giant databases. They don't understand what they write, they cannot truly process and remember any information you put in, and they for sure do not posses any abstract though. GPT-4 hallucinates just like any other LLM, albeit to a lesser degree thanks to the amount of context it can process at a time. They do not and cannot learn from you, because they cannot put anything you write into their database. It's not an AI, not even close. And yes, Stable Diffusion and Midjourney work exactly the same way but with pictures. Funny thing is - the regulations against the "AI" were initiated by the OpenAI company... who wants to keep their AI closed and monopolized. Because of course they do. Not only it makes them money, if nobody can make a competitor because they are now in bed with government they can just keep the tech for themselves and USE it themselves. No AI for peasants, sorry.
