We never had a world in which we agreed on the basic facts. Well known example: "It is God's will" vs "gods don't even exist". The pain of AI is the pain of realizing that the truth cannot so easily be known as we ahve had allowed ourselves to think it is. Far more threatening are social media, that ought to be blocked immediately.
