Have we ever anything from AI that is beyond what it was trained on? As far as I understand, deep learning models which are the backbone of what we call AI never can extrapolate. you give it an enormous databases and it is very good in categorizing and finding connections within that. Never seen any DL algorithm finding anything outside of the bounds it was trained on. Will AI automate many businesses? Yes. Will we create an inventor? never- at least with this technology. We will need a completely different architecture, and we are not even close. There is no paper or research having anything that suggests we are moving in that direction.
