What's immoral if you're poor and marginalized, but cool if you're rich/a company worth billions? Pirating creative works. Go to jail if you're a poor kid in the 3rd world pirating movies, get a few billions of dollars in venture capital funding rounds if you're openAI.
I feel quite strongly in absolute opposition to AI because it's a perfect analogy to how social rules and contracts don't apply if you're a billion dollar company. I was a broke kid in a 3rd world country, and I got reprimanded for not being able to afford media and games that were not even available in my region. But when Microsoft, Meta and OpenAI (who are perfectly capable of paying for these works and are all available to them) steal it? (and make creating more of these works in the future harder) Oh, that's just the future.
