Totally true about the investors and the marketing overpromising. Its definitely a bubble. I think mostly scammers and short-cut profiteers are probably paying for the publicly availble AI services (that are exploitable) the most.
Many types of AI shines in a lot of areas and has a lot of potential, buuut most people dont realise the limitations and pitfalls of the type of AI, before they try to implement it in their stack, because management got hyped about using keywords in their marketing.
Honestly a lot of the time ive heard someone want to solve a problem with AI, the problem was not suited to be solved by AI. Or management want AI so they can use it in marketing, but AI would worsen the product, because the type of problems we solve isnt suited to be solved by AI the best. Its so stupid 😂😂😂
