In my opinion AI will never be concious. AI learns from concious things, us, so it seems concious because that is all it knows. Theres no way for it to act not concious because it cannot be trained or even truly understand not having a conciousness. Same way we cant understand it. It cant be trained on something like that because there is nothing that lives and is not concious.
