I've come to believe that the 'AI Revolution' is America's Star Wars moment -- think about it, American used 'Star Wars' to bankrupt the old Soviet Union, and some argue that it worked, some say it didn't (that is was actually Chernobyl that broke the Soviet Union, but that's a different discussion); but look at what 'AI' is doing to America: destroying the food systems (AI needs a lot of land, water, and power -- ALL to be taken from the populace) -- AI is being used to move maximum wealth from the populace to the Oligarchs; the Tech oligarchs brag daily about how they will use AI to bring in a new Aristocracy, with them being the new Kings, AND this will be an authoritarian time, with AI used to control and dominate the population, controls including access to food, clothing, shelter, energy, medical care, and movement -- it's been pointed out by many that they're talking slavery and serfdom, and they smile or look sheepish. Many talk about the Palaces and wealth built during the last time of Serfs -- also many point out that consumerism is the most perfect form of slavery, so this is just a shift of that mindset to a more obvious reality...maybe. I wouldn't want to be too much of a specialist because then when the shift come you'll be left behind. Right now ALL American/Western tech companies are firing people and seeking to hire H1B visa holders (perfect slaves) to replace for pennies those they're firing...this says everything.
