Lost my job last year, replaced by a mix of a younger person and AI (and it made sense I admit). Now I live with 5 times less money per month (unemployment benefit for 2 years) so I’m spending 5 times less. In 1 year from now I will live on help for the unemployed people over 55, earning 12 times less than when I was working, so I will consume almost nothing (you cant live in a European capital with 400€/month). If they replace most of us with AI and there is no money for UBI, who will buy their products?
