It's funny, this notion of AI erasing entry-level jobs. My problem is exactly the opposite. I have 10+ years of experience in my field but I just can't move on to a senior or team lead or deputy dept. head or some other kind of mid-level position because the vast majority of job listings in my field are for people with 1-3 years of experience. I have no chance because companies can always find someone cheaper and younger. Mid-level positions where more experience and a higher level expertise is appreciated are few and far between. Companies say they want expertise and experience but only as long as they don't have to pay for it. So the way I see it, young graduates and people looking for entry-level jobs definitely have a price advantage on the market.
