How exactly would you detect someone breaking the AI anti-proliferation treaty? There is a rather inconvenient lack of radiation and seismic effects. I think it would do absolutely nothing. No, that's not right... It would be used as an excuse to restrict any kind of software development, require licensing, and regulate companies out of business. I prefer the robot apocalypse, thank you.
