Well, the problem with comparing AI ownership to natural resources is that with resources, the gov still needs you, even if it becomes super rich. No people = no government. But with an AI monopoly, gov simply doesn't need people anymore. It’s not about exploiting them or being a parasite... it’s more like get out of here, get lost, I don't need you in any sense. You are no longer a human.
