My thoughts: We’re not doomed. The trailer with the monsters was visibly messy, unsettling, and contained copyrighted material, and it was just a short video. Imagine an entire movie made from AI. The uncanny valley will do the dirty work for us. No one will consider AI-generated animation a useful innovation anymore. As proven by the Polar Express, some types of animation sound incredible on paper, but are just too creepy on screen.
