it just seems like its an slightly enhanced version of FSD? Which the new FSD is really good....supervised. But Tesla needs that LiDAR they are testing. with public safety, more data is always better in making decisions, especially if its fully autonomous. Anyone in a tesla would know, like when using cameras it can not see whats in front of the car in front, while the Waymo picks up everything. One could argue that neither can humans and sure there is an element of AI that can train and be better on this, but as a paying passenger, do you want to hear that? Id imagine you'd want it to be better than a human driving.
