I've recently had a discussion with someone who is really into this AI craze, and thats understandable since it's really cool
And honestly, it helped me organize my thoughts about it
Im not against the idea of AI, AI's are really cool and can become a great tool!
The problem for me has become clear by how agressive and hateful the AI community is toward the artists who made it possible.
The fact they want to replace us using our own works as fuel is not just scary, but also hurtful, and i am LIVID about how predatory the whole system is.
These services are paid for nowdays, so pay artists for rights to feed their art into the AI, pay royalties, apply some form of regulation to this.
It's infuriating that they are stealing our works, and use them against us with 0 compensation.
almost makes me miss the days of "I'll pay you with exposure".
